Knox County District Attorney's Office
The District Attorney’s Office is committed to serving the citizens of Knox County by working closely with law enforcement, Maine Pretrial Services, Restorative Justice Project of the Midcoast as well as the courts. Our prosecutors strive to keep the community safe by holding offenders accountable for their crimes (i.e. child abuse, violent crimes, thefts, drug crimes and Criminal OUI’s). Our team of prosecutors, victim-witness advocates, and support personnel all work closely together to ensure the best possible outcome for each individual case. County government provides the office space, support staff, equipment and witness fees to help make all of this possible.
